Creativity and Inspiration

The first thing comes to our mind when we think of creativity is imagination. We all have an idea that creativity is only to do with imagining things in a different way. Even I thought the same until I came across a few events. I was surprise when I heard that someone was offering classes for creativity. I thought only people who were gifted and born with the talent were the ones who were creative. I started looking into the idea that creativity can be enhanced as suggested by Professor Tina Seelig. First thing that comes to our mind is how is that possible but I believe that her experiences into this particular field after a few years has made her confident in what she says.

It was time to think now and experiment to. Thanks to a friend I came across a video which shows Aelita, a five year old who has passion in arts. She is very creative and loves colours. I was startled seeing the video and thought that any small child these days are born creative and tried to convince myself that with the idea. I kept on thinking about the video and later on realized she actually kept experimenting with colours which meant she got to know more about colours which in turn enabled her be creative in that field. This was the first time I thought actually there are possibilities that creativity can be enhanced. I was inspired by this little cute girl (her expressions were very cute in the video) who has endless imagination and portrays it through her painting and photography.

I always thought I was pretty bad at writing, but thanks to my mentors and friends who helped me obtain courage to write my previous post, I managed to write a pretty decent post. After that many people did ask me to write but I never really bothered and since there were so many things on my plate, I did not really do. A few days back I just messaged a friend asking "has it taken a vow that it wont go unless its full?" and surprisingly got a reply "where did you get this from?" I was confused. I called to ask what was meant by that question and i was asked that where did you get that quote from and I was the one who wrote it. What the friend understood is that until and unless you don't finish/fulfill what you start or what comes to your mind does not leave the mind. I started laughing and I said that I was referring to the bus. The quote was beautiful. For a moment I was inspired that I could write well (LOL). Then I realized it was not me who had discovered the hidden meaning of a very simple question which could be turned into philosophy. I was told that I can write well. The creativity at that point was not mine but my friend's but the friend inspired me to write again. The best part of the conversation was when my friend used my own words to retaliate stating that anything is possible. I again connected this to Creativity can be enhanced so that does from anything can be possible. I was inspired to write again to express my views. Thank you.

After going through a few more incidents and observations similar the ones above, I finally believe that creativity can be enhanced by practicing it and when you do so, you will always get inspired by your own creativity and so will many other people. This means that you will give hope to many, liven many peoples' hearts, make people happy, remind people of the awesome moments that they would have in their life. In short inspire people and make yourself fill worth. Experiment with what comes to your mind and you never know you would create something so beautiful in life. Life is awesome, try it !!
